Transfers, Refunds and Waitlists
No swaps or transfers between runners will be allowed for the 2022 event. Runners who no longer wish or are unable to run are to officially withdraw and receive their refund as per conditions of withdrawal. Their ticket will be given to the next eligible person on the waiting list through the registration system only.
Private swaps or runners running under another person’s entry will not be permitted.
If you choose to cancel your run entry, you can apply for a refund (conditions apply).
Full refunds (less a $10 administration fee) are only available if applied for by email email@example.com prior to 11:59pm (AWST) Friday 14 January 2022.
All refunds will be returned to the credit card used during purchase.
No refunds for runner-initiated cancellations will be made after 14th January, 2022.
If Federal or State or other legal restrictions are imposed resulting in the cancellation of Busselton Runners Club Marathon, Half Marathon & Fun Run, the following will be offered:
Where the relevant restrictions only result in a reduction in the number of possible participants and not in a complete cancellation of the event, we reserve the right to allocate the reduction (and cancel runner registrations) in such way as we see fit in order to preserve the safety of competitors and the integrity and continuation of the event. We will try to do this as fairly as we reasonably can. In these circumstances, cancelled runners will be entitled to refunds on the same principles set out above.
If the event is fully sold out, a waitlist will be established. As new places become available in the event (following runner withdrawals), runners on the Waitlist will be promoted into the event in order of the Waitlist.
Promotions from the waitlist to the event may still occur after the refund cut-off date.
Once you are promoted into the event, normal refund conditions will apply.
If you are promoted into the event after the refund cut-off date you will not be eligible for a refund.
