Busselton Half Marathon and Fun Run

RACE DAY INFORMATION


It has been a challenging time over the last month to finalise the 2022 Busselton Runners Club Marathon, Half Marathon and Fun Run but we are nearly there, cross all your fingers and toes!

Below are the details you will need for bib pick up and race day.

BIB COLLECTION

When

Friday 11 February 2022

Where

Busselton Surf Life Saving Building

21 Foreshore Parade, Busselton

(Come around to the beach side of the building)

Time

4pm to 9pm

What to bring

Proof of Vaccination Certificate &ID for each bib and Mask

Only 1 person will be allowed into the building to pick up the bib(s), friends and family will be asked to wait outside


Please be patient, bib pick up may take longer than usual.


Last minute bib pickup – At the finish line, Saturday from 5am-6:40am

SELF SEEDED START

We ask that runners self seed their start position in the pack in accordance with the nominated time groupings below so that all people get a fair and safe start. Remember that the wave start will not alter your time, as the time is calculated 'mat to mat'.

At the finish line please keep moving once you've crossed the line to avoid a bottle neck at the end. COVID rules of distancing apply. Your commemorative medal will be handed to you, not placed around your neck.

DRINKS

Bindi Nutrition - It’s crucial we drink water regularly and stay hydrated. For anyone looking for some extra hydration add some Bindi Natural Sports Electrolytes for all your hydration needs! https://www.facebook.com/bindinutrition/. Bindi drinks will be available on course for half marathon competitors and at the finish line.


FOOD AND DRINK

We have 1 coffee van on site, please also support the surrounding café’s (Equinox, Shelter and the Old Court House Coffee Shop)


BENEFICIARY

Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting Friends of the Cape to Cape Track to install additional boardwalk in the Moses Rock location.

COVID-19

We would like to remind all participants and supporters NOT TO ATTEND if they are unwell, have been in contact with a Positive COVID-19 patient, are awaiting COVID-19 testing or have been instructed to self-isolate.

Please scan in using the QR code located in the finish line precinct, a paper log is available at the bib-pick up tent. Please advise family and friends attending to also use the COVID QR code if possible.

COVID-19 marshals will be at the start/finish area. Please comply with directions given.
