Refunds
Refunds are not available for change of mind or non-participation.
If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the Cancellation Policy will apply (50% refund of entry fees).
However you can transfer your ticket to another person via the ticketing platform until 11pm 31 January 2026.
Transfers of distances
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate distance changes as the event sells out.
Transfer of tickets to another runner
Runners unable to participate may transfer their entry to another person via the ticketing platform until 11:00 pm, 31 January 2026.
To do this, log in to your Race Roster account and select the transfer option. You will be prompted to enter the new participant’s email address, and once they complete their registration, the original ticket holder will receive a refund minus a $15 administration fee.”

Bay Run Event - Cancellation Policy
The Busselton Runners Club is committed to delivering a safe and enjoyable Bay Run event. However, unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, natural disasters, safety concerns, or directives from government or emergency services may require cancellation of the event.
If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the organiser’s control:
All registered participants will be eligible for a 50% refund of their entry fee.
Refunds will be processed automatically using the original payment method within 30 days of the scheduled event date.
No other compensation will be provided for associated costs (e.g. travel, accommodation, personal expenses).
In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as possible via email, the event website, and social media channels.
By entering the Bay Run, participants acknowledge and accept this cancellation policy.
